Apleona Facility Management UK raises over £5,000 for HFEH Mind
Apleona Facility Management UK has undertaken a massive fundraising project to raise money for Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing, and Hounslow Mind. A huge thank you to everyone involved, but the biggest thanks of all is to Apleona’s MD: Jacqui Paice.
To mark her 10-year anniversary, Jacqui was sponsored to travel the length of the country between the 18th to the 22nd of October, visiting ten different site locations, one for every year she had been with the company.
She visited sites, suppliers, and partners, including meeting us at Roehampton University where we had a stall to raise awareness of our work for the students. As their chosen charity, Jacqui raised money and awareness of us and our work at every stage of her journey.
The money was raised in three different ways: donations to a JustGiving page to sponsor her journey, a raffle for employees to win prizes donated by suppliers, and an auction of bigger prizes also generously donated by suppliers.
People across the organisation and their wider network worked to bring together over twenty businesses to support the fundraising, and thanks to this incredible effort, they managed to raise over £5,000!
We wanted to write this post to thank Jacqui, and everyone at Apleona and across the sites and supplier network that was involved in making the project such a success!
‘Thank you so much to Jacqui, and everyone at Apleona who made this fundraising initiative such a success, we are incredibly grateful for all of your hard work. This money will make a real difference in our support offering.’
– Benn Keaveney, HFEH Mind CEO
‘We are huge advocates of mental health at Apleona and it seemed fitting to raise money for Mind HFEH. I am astounded at the total funds raised – I am sure this will go a long way in supporting those in the Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow area.’
– Jacqui Paice
