Music On My Mind

Music on My Mind is our new partnership with world-leading electronic music instrument brand, Roland, and legendary music studio, Metropolis.

This project welcomes artists and music industry experts to Roland’s Artist Centre at Metropolis, where they’ll host a series of practical music workshops for young people (ages 16-25) from across our boroughs.

The connection between mental health and music has never been more pertinent, and open, honest communication on these topics from influential names in the industry provides positive action for the next generation.

About the partnership

The joint music and mental health partnership will support young people’s mental health through music, enabling those from every background to explore music as a means of self-expression, to build their confidence and self-esteem, to learn new skills, and excel in what they are passionate about.

The project provides early intervention for positive mental health and well-being for children and young people, while also promoting careers in music and creative industries.
